The Norwood Park Senior Center opened in September 2009 and has become an important part of the Norwood Park community. The new 7,000 square foot facility is operated by Norwood Crossing and has over 900 members with an average of over 100 visits a day. Decorated in bright and vibrant colors, the facility boasts a large fitness center with state-of-the-art strength training and cardiovascular equipment.

The Senior Center is a partnership of the City of Chicago Department of Family and Support Services, the Chicago Park District, and Norwood Crossing.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm for information by phone as well as lunch takeout.
The Senior Center is closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

NOTICE: The City of Chicago has opened all senior centers though the fitness center remains closed until further notice. We now have a dine-in option with two seatings available from either 10:30-11:30am or 12-1pm. Space is limited. Call to make a reservation. Both dine-in or to go options continue to be boxed lunches. We will keep you posted with any further developments.
